Solvent-Based Polyurethane Waterproof Coating is a high-performance reactive waterproof system formulated from isocyanate prepolymers, organic solvents, fillers, and functional additives. It is available in both single-component and two-component (A/B) systems, and cures through chemical reaction after application to form a dense, seamless, rubber-like waterproof membrane.
The cured membrane provides excellent impermeability and high elasticity, enabling it to accommodate structural movement, settlement, and thermal expansion without cracking or failure. It bonds strongly to dry concrete, cement mortar, metal, wood, and old asphalt-based waterproof layers.
Compared with water-based systems, solvent-based polyurethane offers higher film density, stronger waterproofing performance, and superior low-temperature flexibility, making it suitable for demanding underground and long-term water-exposed environments such as basements, roofs, and water-retaining structures. Proper ventilation and fire safety measures are required during application due to solvent content.
